Modernity beneath 1

A beginning of a house, between Tirana and Durres, Albania, obviously with a flag on top of it. An example of how Modernism, although ideologically de-throned both in the East and West, is still functional as the most economical and flexible construction. Albania, or the further you go down south, you see greater number of these modernist frames barren. Surely, latent capitalism being unleashed now in Tirana, like in Pristina, my be the most potent reason why. So this is the new political image of balkanization, post-state, pro-individual architecture and urbanism of the wild cities of South West Balkan [a new term copy righted by LHE, to politically incorrect the term Western Balkan by balkanizing it.
