Here is a tentative agenda for the Source Book worksession in Rotterdam on 17-19 March. When we get together and start talking and doing things will take their own course. What I try to do now is to create an overview of subjects to discuss and decide upon. Commenst and ideas are welcome! Ana

LHE Source Book:

- CONCEPT - how do we go about three issues originally proposed: expedition as an experimental Society, Lexicon of the future (extracting concepts and notions that relate to the future or European territory and cultural production - from a positive interpretation of the notion Balkanisation) and individual Projects. There is a start of a discussion that what we are aiming at is actually a lexicon to which input related to Society and Projects would feed in...

- CONTENT - discussion on the concept will bring us to further clarification of the content of the Source Book... How do we invision it, and how do we think about the relationship Western Balkans - (Western) Europe through it...

- PROCESS - how to involve a larger group of participants into the process of building up the content... The idea is that the following two sessions would take place with Kuda.org (Novi Sad) and Press to Exit Project Space (Skopje). What is their character, having in mind that we will have to work out the setting and content with Kuda and Press to Exit, we could speculate on a possible character of these meetings... Could we use format similar to the 'Dictionary of War' where people who would join sessions would come with a number of formulated notions for the lexicon that are then discussed (or even edited) by the group.

- TECHNICAL - how is the content contributed (web, event...) and what would be technical requirements for such a process.

- PUBLISHING, for now we have a contact (over Marjetica) with Revolver publishers for the Photo Book. Yane has some concerns about this publishing house and suggest to make a 'survey' of which publisher would fit the best our purpose. Also taking into the account publishing the Source Book - Lexicon, in a later stage.

LHE Photo book:

- PHOTO BOOK, paralell to the process of making source book we are also busy with LHE photobook. Photo book and Source book/pool could create a serie of Europe Lost and Found (ELF) publications. On what principle are they conceptually connected... Photo book is visual, the Source book is more text based... What are the chapters of the Photo Book... How is content to be collected and selected... (Srdjan and Katherine can give a lead on this discussion).

Find Europe Assemblies:

The original idea of ELF was to have two expeditions following each other. LHE in 2006 and Find Europe Expedition or Find Europe Assemblies in 2008. How do we think about this now, and what are the possible models for 2008... Could we think of the Source Book (Lexicon) as an expandable model that could be brought to a number of European cities (other then Western balkans) and institutions/situations where it could be expanded or edited according to response of notions proposed by taking local context into the account. Here we could start thinking of institutions that already show interets towards the project and cities like Rotterdam, Barcelona, Rome, Liverpool, Dresden... Therefore there would be a chain of events (assemblies, or lets look for a better word) that would replace the idea of an expedition.
